In Pittsburgh, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

I’ve been hearing about this pizza from so many people and it did not disappoint! If you live in the South Hills definitely check this place out- it’s worth the drive even if you’re not close. Upon entering, they couldn’t have been more welcoming & were so friendly. I met Bob the owner and he personally checked my pizza before I walked out the door since I was a first time customer. I ordered the large traditional pizza with basil and it was everything I expected and then some! I love a sweeter sauce & thin crispy crust, so this was right up my alley. It had a gourmet taste and delicious blend of cheeses, and now ranks up there as one of my top 5 pizzas in Pittsburgh;) My son loved it as well and it was even good the next day! I’m so happy I found this place- we’ll be back again for this 5 star pizza & service!⭐️🍕

I had Conti's cheese pizza for the first time today and I'd say it's a solid 8.5/9. I would've rated it higher but the didn't have any garlic and I love garlic on my pizza. I'll be back for sure. 🤗

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 Stars — Absolute Perfection! If you are looking for the ultimate pizza experience, look no further than Conti's Pizzeria & Pit! From the moment you walk through the door, the friendly service makes you feel right at home. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience, treating every guest with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. But let’s talk about the food—it is flawless. The perfect crust strikes the ultimate balance between light, airy, and beautifully crispy on the bottom. It holds up perfectly to an incredible layout of the best toppings you can find. Every single ingredient tastes exceptionally fresh, from the rich cheese blend to the premium, savory meats. Every bite delivers the perfect ratio of sauce, cheese, and dough. This place easily deserves a 10-star rating. It is a local gem that never disappoints!

We came here as part of the pizza passport. The pizza was your general run of the mill pizza. They were generous with the toppings which is always nice to see. The staff was friendly - only down side was we had a long wait time to just get single slices.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and it didn’t disappoint! We ordered delivery and it came in about an hour (Sat night). The salad was fresh and had fresh ingredients, not your typical iceberg salad from a pizza shop, the lettuce was crunch and green. The house dressing was also delicious. The white pizza had a nice garlicky crust, huge globs of ricotta (heck yes) and we added pepperoni, they have the little cupping pepperonis too and that was perfection. The large pizza is pretty dang big, the box did not fit in my fridge 🤣 The biggest shock to us were the pepperoni rolls, the meat was shaved/diced and even had a little spice, this put the roll next level. Also let’s talk ranch bc that’s important at a pizza shop (to us) and it was delicious! They also offer a garlic ranch, which we ordered but I don’t think they sent it, that’s ok! Can’t wait to add this to our preferred pizza delivery shop.
